Travel to College
Getting to college is easy. There are a number of direct train services and bus routes which cover a wide area. Some of the locations students travel in from include Reading, Staines-upon-Thames, Datchet, Feltham, Maidenhead, Langley, Slough & South-West London.
Train Pass (16-17 Saver)
National Rail have released its 16–17 Saver card which is available to everyone aged 16 and 17. This card gets you 50% off most rail fares every day of the year with no time restrictions and no minimum fare. The 16–17 Saver is valid for one year or until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first.
National £3 Bus Fare Cap Scheme
Over 130 bus operators outside of London are now capping single fares at £3. This includes popular services for students such as First Bus, Thames Valley Buses, and Carousel Buses. This is valid until at least March 2027.
Key Information:
- Check Eligibility: You can view the full list of participating operators and service numbers on the government website.
- Payment Method: Please be aware that most providers do not sell the capped tickets via their mobile apps. You must purchase them directly from the driver.
Note regarding London: This scheme does not apply to Transport for London (TfL) services, as their fares are already lower than the cap.
Car Parking
We do have a student car park at the College with limited spaces and students can purchase a permit. Please note this does not guarantee a space and alternative parking will need to be sought off site if none available.
