How to Apply & Interview Guide
You’ve chosen Windsor College as your next step for sixth form, but how do you apply? The application process for both colleges is easy and can be completed either online or offline if you prefer.
Some courses require an interview, audition, or equivalent, which is designed to be a positive experience, and a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about your chosen course.
Application Process
Simply go to our ‘Study with us‘ page, choose your courses, and add them to the online basket. When you are ready to check out, you will be directed to create an account and fill out and submit an application form. We will then be in touch to either arrange an interview or, if needed, to ask for more information.
If you would rather complete your application offline, please get in touch with our admissions team on 01753 793288.
All Subject Interview Guides
These guides will help you prepare for your interview and inform you of what you will need to bring on the day, if required. Interviews will either be via telephone, online, or face-to-face. Please note that if your interview is via telephone, then the call may come from an unknown number. If your interview is online, a link will be emailed to you prior to the interview.
Introduction to the Course
At Windsor College we have a range of subjects across multiple disciplines, so there’s something for everyone.
What to expect from your interview or audition
The interview is an opportunity for both parties to determine whether the right courses have been chosen. It provides an opportunity for the College to ask questions about your progress, achievements and future plans, as well as an opportunity for you to ask us questions about the courses or college.
How to prepare for your interview
We recommend that you have predicted grades and mock exam results available. If available, your attendance and behaviour record too. Please be prepared with any questions about the college or the courses you want.
Format of your interview
Interviews are a mixture of face to face and telephone, and this is made clear at the time of booking. For telephone interviews, be prepared for a call from an unidentified number. For face to face, there is no specific dress code.
Expectations of the course
Individual course details can be found on the relevant pages via the College’s website.
How to rearrange your interview
If you wish to make any amendments to your interview, please log back into your Student Portal, and choose ‘rearrange’ and select and alternative date and time.
