This week, students from our Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Hair & Make-up Effects for Film and Theatre joined forces with our Level 4 Professional Diploma in Performance students, resulting in a truly imaginative and visually striking collaboration.

Drawing inspiration from the theme of Witches and Queens, students combined their talents to produce a series of captivating make-up looks and cabaret-style performances. The project showcased not only technical skill, but also creativity, character development, and performance flair.

Standout creations included the mesmerising Miss Tique, a drag queen hypnotist, and the delightfully chaotic Phoebe Jeebies, the “worst witch” – each brought to life through detailed make-up artistry and engaging stage presence.

This collaboration provided students with invaluable real-world experience, mirroring the kind of cross-disciplinary teamwork found in the film, theatre, and live performance industries. It was also a fantastic opportunity for learners to build confidence, expand their creative portfolios, and celebrate each other’s work.

The results were nothing short of fantastic, highlighting the exceptional talent and dedication of our students across both courses.
