Pottery – Summer Taster

During this taster session you will be introduced to the basic hand-building processes used in pottery, including pinching, coiling and slab building.

Time permitting, this will be followed with two mini projects. You will be creating a bowl form using a Japanese technique called Kirinuki and secondly, you will produce a simple bud vase form using the slab building technique. Underglaze colours will be available to decorate your wares.

Please note, it will take up to 2-3 weeks to fire and glaze your wares after the course has ended
