British Sign Language Introduction to British Sign Language – Summer Taster
British Sign Language (BSL) is a visual language with its own unique grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. Using Gestures BSL involves handshapes, facial expressions, and body language to communicate. It is the most common sign language used in the UK. The taster course will introduce you to information that would start your journey of learning.
BSL was recognized as an official language of the UK in 2003 and legally recognized in 2022
